The taskThe BSC Young Boys Axpo Superleague Football Club is looking for new sponsors. The sponsorship structure and documentation must be suitably adapted.
The solutionAs Head of Operations and Events/COO (appointment by YB and “Stade de Suisse”), Thomas Gurtner was also responsible for sponsorship matters. The conceptual groundwork first had to be done to make the proposition attractive to new sponsors. Building on that foundation, potential new sponsors were taken on board. Main actions taken:
- Analysis: Verification of the existing sponsorship structure and sponsorship concept
- Concept: New sponsor structure. Basis for new sponsor structures and business plan for 2015ff
- Negotiations: With the new conceptual basis, YB was fit for negotiations and for the acquisition of potential sponsors
The resultSince the 2011/2012 season, BSC Young Boys has acquired a new main sponsor, i.e. Bauhaus.
